A statement by the President of the United Friends of America

"This is my plea: for our Americonian citizens to get involved and participate in their government. You all re-elected me. Or did you all? Last election, less than 10 people voted. Fewer ran. 

"Still, I'm taking this chance to make a change in our nation. I urge you all, run for a position. President, VP, Congress, Supreme Court, Cabinet, any position. If you think that it's too much of a burden, I assure you— it isn't. To serve in your government, all you need to do is set aside a few minutes a month for a video meeting or for some thinking. It costs almost nothing. So participate! You don't need any more skill or knowledge than you have (although a broad knowledge of our nation can be helpful).
