Secretary of State Recognizes Kyrgyzstan, Philippines
The United Friends of America now officially recognizes the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of the Philippines due to official decrees by Auden Watts, our Secretary of State.

Watts states that he is "looking forward to a new era of partnership with the two republics".
The two countries differ greatly in their history and geographical locations. Kyrgyzstan is a landlocked country located in Central Asia. The nation of 7.2 million people is one of fifteen post-Soviet states. Meanwhile, the Philippines is an archipelago in Southeast Asia and boasts an impressive population of over 112 million. It is a member of ASEAN, while both countries are part of the United Nations.

The United Friends of America does not currently maintain an embassy in either country, nor is it financially achievable to do so.
As of this time, neither Kyrgyzstan nor the Philippines recognizes the UFA. Secretary of State Auden Watts has not requested that either nation do so at this time. "I believe it is better to wait until more favorable conditions arise," he says.
