Education Secretary Lana Ziccardi Promises a Positive Vision for the Future

The onset of Q3 of 2025 saw the inauguration of Lana Ziccardi as the UFA’s Secretary of Education.

Lana Ziccardi grew up in a town in New Jersey, USA. She has a sister but does not have any pets. Her interests include dance, volleyball, hanging out with her friends, and going on vacation. She has not visited any countries other than the US and the UFA but she wants to when she gets older. She joined the UFA in 2025 and announced her campaign for Secretary of Education soon after. I asked her why she chose to run for the position, and she responded by saying “I chose to run for this position because it is very important. I am great at helping people and giving them my best opinion. People need tips and educational advice to help them grow.” She ran unopposed and won the 2025 Q3 election by a large margin.

Ziccardi presents a vision of positivity for the nation. “I plan to educate others about kindness and happiness”, she said. “I will also help them with [their] problems and do my best to solve them.”

A common topic of discussion in the field of education is whether to implement a course for new UFA citizens. “I believe it should be announced that they could do it but it should also be an option,” says Ziccardi. “They shouldn’t be forced to do something but it would be very nice if they could. It would have information about the UFA and how it came together. It would also have some questions to ask the citizens about them and if they have any questions about the UFA. It could be a great way to form friends and come together with new UFA citizens.”

I also asked her what she wants her legacy to be. “I want my legacy to be remembered,” she says. “This means making a difference in others’ lives. I want it to be about ensuring safety, encouragement, helpfulness, and kindness.” Her policies seem to align with this legacy.

There are eighty days left in Q3, meaning the nation has plenty of time to see what Ziccardi will do. When asked if she would run for reelection, she said she would “if I get far”.
